As of April 28, 2016, the Zappos credit card is no longer being offered to new customers. Current holders of the card can still use it and obviously must still pay their existing card balances. Zappos has not announced that any new card offer is forthcoming, so for now at least its credit card program seems to be over. Below you can see our review of the Zappos card when it was still offered through Chase Bank…
Popular online shoes & clothing retailer Zappos.com has its own credit card that earns you extra points for shopping at Zappos and rewards you with Zappos gift certificates.
Our overview / review of the card is below:
Here’s how the Zappos credit card doles out the rewards:
- You get 3 points for every dollar you spend at Zappos.com.
- You get 1 point for every dollar you spend anywhere else you use the Zappos Visa.
- Every time you reach 2,500 points, you get a $25 Zappos.com gift certificate.
In addition, you’ll get a $25 statement credit right off the bat when you use the card for the first time.
We like that this card offers its point redemption automatically — whenever you hit the 2500-point threshold, you get the Zappos.com gift certificate without having to do anything to redeem your points. This is much simpler than the way many rewards cards work.
The interest rate on the Zappos credit card is as low as 14.24% for good credit customers, but could also be as high as 22.24% for those with shakier credit. There is no annual fee for the card.
The Zappos.com credit card is issued in partnership with Chase.
