Review: Royal Caribbean Credit Card

Royal Caribbean cruise line, in partnership with Bank of America, offers a credit card that allows you to earn points toward Royal Caribbean cruises, upgrades, and on-board credit. Our overview / review of the Royal Caribbean credit card is below:

The Royal Caribbean Visa Signature Card can be used for purchases anywhere Visa credit cards are accepted, and you will earn MyCruise reward points with every purchase. Specifically, you will earn:

  • 2 points per dollar on Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises purchases
  • 1 point per dollar on all other card purchases

In addition, you will get 10,000 bonus points after you use the card for the first time (within 65 days of getting it), plus, if you use the card for at least $1000 in purchases within 90 days, you will get another 7500 bonus points.

Your points can be used for everything from free and discounted cruises to free upgrades to onboard credit to Royal Caribbean merchandise.

There is no annual fee for the Royal Caribbean credit card. The interest rate on the card is anywhere from 13.74% to 23.74% depending on your credit history.
