Bergdorf Goodman, in partnership with Capital One, offers a credit card with a rewards program that may entice frequent Bergdorf shoppers (as well as Neiman Marcus and Horchow shoppers). Our overview / review of the Bergdorf Goodman credit card is below:
The Bergdorf Goodman credit card is only accepted at Bergdorf Goodman and its sister stores Neiman Marcus and Horchow. If you are a frequent shopper at these stores, the card could makes sense, but, if you’re not, you need to ask yourself if opening a new credit line with limited acceptance is a good thing for your financial picture and your credit score.
The card offers an InCircle rewards program that is simple to understand: you get 2 points for every dollar charged with the card, and once you reach 10,000 points, you get a $100 Bergdorf Goodman gift card.
A nice perk for new cardholders: you get 5,000 InCircle points immediately if you open your card and make any size purchase with it on that same day.
One of the things that makes us a bit leery about the Bergdorf credit card is that the interest rate is a very high 24.24%. If you ever carry a balance on your credit cards from month to month, you do not want a card charging that kind of interest.
Knowing the potential downsides, if you still want to apply for the Bergdorf Goodman credit card, you can do so online with this application.
