Norwegian Cruise Line, in partnership with Bank of America, offers a credit card that offers cruise rewards and other potential rewards. Our overview / review of the card is below:
The Norwegian Cruise Line World MasterCard is basically a copy of other Bank of America WorldPoints rewards cards, with a bit of a twist to make it relevant to cruise fans. It offers:
- 3 WorldPoints points for every $1 in purchases of Norwegian Cruise Line items
- 1 point for every dollar charged to the card anywhere else
In addition, new cardholders get 10,000 bonus points, which can be used as a $100 credit toward a future cruise or as onboard credit. You can also earn an extra $50 Norwegian gift card if you use the card for at least $1000 in purchases within the first 90 days.
Each WorldPoint is equivalent to a penny when redeemed, and in addition to the option to redeem points toward cruises or onboard purchases, you can use your points toward cash back, gift cards, or other travel rewards.
The Norwegian Cruise Line credit card has an interest rate of between 13.49% and 23.49% depending on your credit history. There is no annual fee.
If you’d like to apply for the card, you’ll find the online application here.
